Lyrics

Struggled through the poverty years, and now we're overcoming all of our fears.
So we go, and we know.
Start the show, let it flow.

It all started in a church, my mom was a real piece of work,
cause every other day we couldn't play cause we were to busy
having to rehearsal til our tonsils hurt.
Director of a youth choir, a bunch of minds for her to try and transpire
thinking that having us sing for the congregation in the making would
lift all the other people's spirits higher.

Whoa, but the streets hold of me, I kinda miss the feeling of
her holding me.
A young bol' in the jungle trying to hustle, cause the struggle
had a hold of me, but now that's old to me.

All I really know so far, is what I have inside my heart...

Struggled through the poverty years, and now we're overcoming all of our fears.
So we go, and we know.
Start the show, let it flow.

So I moved to the block, got introdcued to a little bit of rock.
The drums, guitar, and bass went so hard, I knew here is where I could have a fresh start.
So I joined with the band, tried to learn something that I didn't understand.
But once I got the mic in hand, everything became clear and I felt like a brand new man.
Did my first couple shows, doing more drugs just to balance out the lows.
Rock star lifestyle buggin' while I wild out, with a lot of good girls and a lot bad hoes.
Never thought this could happen, in the mix something bad started to happen.
Heads got big, everybody started clashin', a lot of back stabbin', so I started rappin'.

All I really know so far, is what I have inside my heart...

Struggled through the poverty years, and now we're overcoming all of our fears.
So we go, and we know.
Start the show, let it flow.
